The biggest hit in French horror history of the past 20 years!
Director Sam Raimi and Stephen King gave it great acclaim!
The shocking debut film by up-and-coming director Sebastien Vanicek!
One day, Caleb (Theo Christine), an exotic animal lover living in an apartment complex in the suburbs of Paris, acquires a rare venomous spider. Every day, Caleb, who earns money by reselling sneakers, gives Toumani, who lives in the same apartment, a pair of sneakers that he has ordered. Soon after, Toumani dies of unknown causes. The police determine that there is a mysterious virus, and the building is sealed off and the residents are locked in. Behind the scenes, the poisonous spiders that Caleb purchased have escaped and are beginning to multiply at breakneck speed.
Directed by up-and-coming director Sevastian Vanisek, this is his first feature film. This film won the Jury Prize at the 35th Sitges Fantastic Film Festival. The effective music by Double Danger, a musical unit consisting of Xavier Coe and Douglas Cavanna, brings an unusual tension to the entire film.
